He stopped taking up lead roles in B-grade movies from 2003. As a supporting actor he achieved success with Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, and made a come-back to A-grade Hindi films with successful films like Life in a Metro (2007), Apne (2007) and Johnny Gaddaar (2007).
